The Academic Resilience Consortium (ARC) is an association of faculty, professionals, and students in higher education who are dedicated to understanding and promoting student resilience.  Members represent many functions in higher education, including learning services, counseling services, advising programs, academic departments, and bridge programs.  The Consortium currently includes over 400 members from 200 schools in five countries.

can be broadly understood as capacities for persistence, creativity, emotional intelligence, grit, cognitive flexibility, risk-taking, agency, adapting to change, delaying gratification, learning from failure and success, and ovecoming adversities.
